This is a bad poll, because it was about a little of each. Not bad for a cheesy romantic comedy, Bill Murray does it well despite his not-so-funny role. I specially liked how he developed progressively from desperation, gratification, destruction, improvement, generosity and finally humility. It's like the middle age crisis with an added woodchuck!

Just saw 12:01, it was very entertaining too. I think it's unfair to compare it with the Groundhog day because one elapses a few days, but the other is close to ten years. Amusingly, Bill Murray character looks much more mentally stable than the 12:01 guy.

I only half-watched Groundhog Day, so really ought to watch it again in spite of not being very interested in it. I think that 12:01 has the better storyline though, and is more engaging.
